How to assemble a PDF document
- Add your PDFs and images.
- Arrange the items, choose pages and add a cover, dividers or blank pages.
- Select Build document, then download.
About this tool
Document assembly goes further than merging. Pick exactly which pages to use from each PDF, add images as pages, insert blank pages and section dividers, and start with a clean cover page.
Give each document a label and PDFPUMA adds bookmarks, so readers can jump straight to each section from their PDF reader's sidebar. You can also number the pages, starting after the cover.
Agency adds the Client pack builder: client logos and colours, a table of contents, footers, and saved client profiles you can reuse.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to PDFPUMA?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read and processed on your device and the result is created there too — they are not sent to PDFPUMA's servers.
How is this different from Merge PDF?
Merge joins whole files in order. Document assembly lets you pick pages from each file, add images, covers, dividers and blank pages, and creates bookmarks.
Can I add a table of contents?
Tables of contents, client branding and saved client profiles are part of the Client pack builder in Agency.
Which plan includes Document assembly?
Document assembly is included in Starter, Business and Agency.
Can I use password-protected PDFs?
Not with this tool yet. PDFPUMA doesn't bypass PDF passwords or permissions. If you own the file, remove the password in the app you used to protect it, then try again.
