How the tools work
PDFPUMA uses established open-source software inside your browser: pdf-lib and Mozilla's PDF.js for editing and rendering, qpdf for password protection, and Tesseract for text recognition (OCR). Nothing about your document is sent to PDFPUMA's servers. Accounts and subscriptions store only your account details, billing status and any settings you choose to save — never documents. Read more on our privacy and security pages.
Limitations, stated plainly: OCR supports seven Latin-script languages; Compare PDF compares text, not layout; signatures are visual electronic signatures, not certificate-based digital signatures; and Office-format conversion isn't offered.
PDFPUMA and Xorvia
PDFPUMA is a product in the Xorvia software portfolio.
The service is operated, and subscriptions are sold, by Luxclean Gold Coast Pty Ltd (ABN 93 678 752 746), Queensland, Australia. See our terms.
