Terms of service
Last updated 25 October 2026
PDFPUMA is operated by Luxclean Gold Coast Pty Ltd (ABN 93 678 752 746), Queensland, Australia. PDFPUMA is a product in the Xorvia software portfolio; your contract for the Service and any paid plan is with Luxclean Gold Coast Pty Ltd. These terms apply when you use pdfpuma.com, pdfpuma.com.au and the PDFPUMA tools and subscriptions (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. “We” and “us” means Luxclean Gold Coast Pty Ltd.
1. The Service
PDFPUMA provides tools for working with PDF files. The tools run in your web browser: your files are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers (see our privacy policy). You can use the tools without an account. Accounts and paid plans add higher limits and extra features as described on the pricing page.
You're responsible for having the right to use and modify the files you process, for keeping copies of your originals, and for checking that results meet your needs before relying on them.
2. Accounts
Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you think your account has been misused. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions, billed in advance in Australian dollars. Prices include GST for Australian customers. The price and any tax are shown before you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You authorise us, through our payment processor Stripe, to charge your payment method for each renewal.
- Free trials: Business includes a 30-day free trial and Agency a 60-day free trial for first-time subscribers. A payment method is required. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you're charged the plan price on the day the trial ends. Free trials are limited to one per customer.
- You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel in the billing portal (Account → Plan & billing → Manage billing). Plan changes are prorated by Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- If a payment fails we'll retry it. If it still can't be collected, your subscription may be cancelled and your account returns to the free plan.
- We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable advance notice. Changes don't affect a period you've already paid for.
4. Refunds
See our refund policy. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to break the law or infringe others' rights, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service, or resell or automate access to paid features without our agreement. We may suspend accounts that do.
5A. Signatures, protection, redaction and OCR
Sign PDF adds an image of your signature (a visual electronic signature); it is not a certificate-based digital signature, and you are responsible for deciding whether it is acceptable for your document. Redact PDF permanently removes content only from the areas you mark — check every page before sharing. OCR results can contain errors; check important details against the original. Protect PDF uses AES-256 encryption with a password only you know; we can't recover a lost password. Only unlock documents you own or are authorised to change.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and working well, but it may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve or change features; if we remove a significant paid feature, we'll tell you and you may cancel.
7. Liability
Our goods and services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those guarantees and to the extent the law allows, the Service is provided as is, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data or profits. Because files are processed on your device, keep your own copies of important documents.
8. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and we'll notify subscribers of material changes.
9. Contact
