How to merge PDF files
- Add two or more PDF files, or drag them onto the page.
- Drag the files — or use the arrow buttons — into the order you want.
- Select Merge PDF, then download your combined file.
About this tool
Merging is the quickest way to send one tidy file instead of several attachments — a signed contract with its schedules, a set of invoices for an accountant, or chapters of a report.
PDFPUMA copies every page exactly as it is, including its size, orientation and annotations. Nothing is re-rendered or compressed, so text stays selectable and quality is unchanged.
Bookmarks and form fields from the original files aren't carried into the merged document, because combining them from different files reliably isn't possible in every case.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to PDFPUMA?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read and processed on your device and the result is created there too — they are not sent to PDFPUMA's servers.
How many files can I merge?
The free plan merges up to 20 files (50 MB each) at a time. Paid plans raise these limits. Because merging happens on your device, very large jobs depend on your device's available memory.
Will merging reduce the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are copied as-is. Text, images and vector graphics are not re-encoded.
Can I use password-protected PDFs?
Not with this tool yet. PDFPUMA doesn't bypass PDF passwords or permissions. If you own the file, remove the password in the app you used to protect it, then try again.
