Turn a scanned batch into organised client documents
One scan of 40 invoices becomes 40 searchable, named PDFs.
How it works
- 1OCR PDFBusiness
Make the scanned batch searchable, so each page's text can be read.
- 2Smart split PDFBusiness
Split at each page containing text such as “Tax invoice”, and name each file from the text after “Invoice number”.
- 3PDF workflowsBusiness
Optionally run a saved workflow on the results — for example compress, then add page numbers.
Example
- What you start with
- One 84-page scan of a client's supplier invoices, each starting with "Tax invoice".
- What you get
- A ZIP of separate, searchable PDFs named by invoice number — e.g. scan-INV-1001.pdf, scan-INV-1002.pdf.
Tips
- Scan at 300 DPI in black and white or greyscale for the best OCR.
- Check the proposed split points before exporting — you can add or remove any.
Questions
- Are client documents uploaded?
- No. OCR, splitting and workflows all run in your browser.
- What if a document has no separator text?
- Use blank separator pages between documents when scanning, or split every N pages.
